At the end of March 2026, women from the North East Combined Authority’s Empowering Journeys programme came together for an afternoon tea at the Crowne Plaza in Newcastle. Hosted by Sharon Jandu, the event celebrated the participants and those who supported them along the way.
The event provided a welcoming space to share stories and build connections, marking a chance to recognise their dedication, celebrate achievements and look ahead to the future with confidence.
It was great to be involved in such a meaningful event, helping NECA with event management and delivery; overseeing planning, speaker & supplier liaison, and onsite operations to ensure a seamless experience.
