We are looking for an Event Manager to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne and play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of events from concept through to completion.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll lead projects with confidence, creativity and attention to detail. You’ll work closely with colleagues, clients, partners and suppliers to bring events to life; ensuring every element is aligned, impactful and delivered to an exceptional standard.

what you'll be doing.

You will manage events end-to-end, from initial brief through planning, production and onsite delivery, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and attendees alike.

You’ll take the lead in understanding client objectives and translating them into clear, deliverable plans. Working across logistics, programme development, supplier management and stakeholder coordination. You’ll build and manage detailed project timelines, oversee budgets with confidence, and ensure all elements are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Collaboration will be central to your role. Internally, you’ll work closely with Event Managers and Project Coordinators, supporting and guiding delivery teams. Externally, you’ll build strong, trusted relationships with clients, venues, suppliers and partners, representing BeaconHouse with professionalism and warmth.

You’ll also play a key role onsite; leading delivery, problem-solving in real time and ensuring every detail contributes to an outstanding event experience. Post-event, you’ll support evaluation and reporting, capturing insights and learnings to continuously improve our work.

Alongside delivery, you’ll contribute to the evolution of how we work – bringing ideas, efficiencies and innovation to our processes, and supporting our commitment to responsible, inclusive and sustainable event delivery.

what we're looking for.

We are seeking individuals who represent the following: 

  • Two years experience at Project Manager or Event Producer level
  • Self-motivated and lead by example with enthusiasm towards the role, the company, and your colleagues
  • Operates to an exceptional level of delivery, balances an excellent eye for detail whilst considering the overall project objectives 
  • Confidently leads projects and communicates effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Works in a calm and composed manner when managing multiple projects / deadlines 
  • Maintains resilience and stamina required to sustain performance under pressure 
  • An individual that takes joy from home / remote working as well as working in an office environment and can balance the need for both (we typically expect a minimum of two days per week to be spent at our Newcastle based office)
  • A true team player who works collaboratively and provides excellent support.
  • Proactively supports their teams development and provides motivation, particularly with inevitable challenges arise
  • Passionate about supporting your peers to be better

  • Demonstrated prior experience in an events agency or in-house environment managing projects and in a client-facing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Impeccable organisation skills with the ability to prioritise effectively 
  • Very strong project management and decision-making skills 
  • Proficient in managing project budgets 
  • Has a creative eye and may wish to learn how to use design software for basic tasks 
  • An ability and willingness to travel for site inspections and event delivery 
  • Experience in the following is preferable; Basecamp, Canva, Google Docs
