Following a successful consultancy partnership in 2025, BeaconHouse Events were delighted to be appointed as the professional conference organiser for Genome Science UK 2026. Held at the University of Manchester, with the conference dinner taking place at the iconic Manchester Museum, the event brought together researchers, academics, industry professionals and innovators from across the genomics community to share knowledge, showcase emerging technologies and explore the latest developments in genome science.
The conference programme featured keynote presentations from leading experts, scientific research talks, poster presentations and industry-led sessions, creating valuable opportunities for collaboration, learning and networking. Alongside the academic content, the event welcomed a range of sponsors and exhibitors, enabling delegates to engage directly with organisations at the forefront of genomic research and technology.
BeaconHouse Events managed every aspect of the event delivery, providing a comprehensive event management service from initial planning through to onsite execution. Our team oversaw delegate registration, the abstract submission and review process, invited speaker management, sponsorship sales and fulfillment, exhibition coordination, venue liaison and full onsite event management.
Working closely with the organising committee, we helped deliver a seamless delegate experience while ensuring the event’s scientific and commercial objectives were met. From coordinating speaker logistics and managing exhibition partners to supporting abstract presenters and overseeing the conference dinner, our team worked across every detail to create a professional, engaging and successful event for all involved.
Fabulous support as usual. Proactive and on the case. The team knew when to step in and just make decisions for us. – Matt Loose, Genome Science Committee
