In October 2025, BeaconHouse Events supported the inaugural AWS North Community Conference at The Catalyst, Newcastle Helix, bringing together global technology leaders, developers, and innovators to explore how AWS is transforming the way organisations build, innovate, and scale software solutions.
With over 150 attendees and 25 speakers, the conference featured four tracks led by industry experts. Powered by Leighton and sponsored by AWS, with event partners Accenture, Prolific North, and Dynamo, the event combined high-impact content with a vibrant community atmosphere.
Delegates enjoyed lunch from local food trucks, including wood-fired pizzas from Fire & Dough and gyros from The Greekster, while Deep North provided barista services and their renowned doughnuts. In collaboration with the AWS ‘Serverlesspresso’ team, delegates also gained an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the software powering the coffee service.BeaconHouse Events managed every aspect of delivery, from venue, supplier, and speaker coordination to branding, speaker dinner organisation, delegate materials, sponsor liaison, and onsite operations, including AV and stage management.
