Newcastle Building Society Community Foundation Event

We were delighted to work with Newcastle Building Society and the Community Foundation Tyne & Wear and Northumberland on their Connect, Collaborate, and Make a Difference event. The purpose of the event was to highlight the critical issues affecting the health and prosperity of our region and to define where efforts can be placed to boost opportunities for social mobility in North East communities.

We welcomed over 100 collaborators across business, academia, the public sector, networks and associations, third-sector organisations, and funders. The afternoon was filled with inspiring speakers from across the region, a brilliant panel, a collaborative break-out session, and lots of networking opportunities. The afternoon was well catered for, with delicious, sweet treats by the local social enterprise Big River Bakery and refreshments by Olivia’s Kitchen.
